Hi, it's Alie B.! I am an actor, advocate, and consultant on a mission to create a more inclusive world.
As an actor, I have worked in regional theatre, off-Broadway, and on tour. I seek to tell stories that shed light on the complexities of the human condition...stories that challenge norms. I also live for a celebratory tap break and a perfectly timed Dad-joke
I currently reside in NYC where I serve as an inclusion consultant for theatres, organizations, and educators who seek to make their communities more accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities.
I am a self-proclaimed “cockeyed optimist,” and I happen to live with a vision impairment. In 2008, I created Songs for Sight, an organization that provides funding and support so that children with low vision across Alabama can thrive. I am currently the co-producer of ABLE: a series, a new doc-series that discusses disability inclusion in the entertainment industry. For more on ABLE, click here!
